Sticky Chewy Chocolate

A journey back to IMM brings back many memories.

It's been 2 years since I've last been here, but the image of my last trip haunts me. Nothing to do with IMM though; there are some things are are just hard to put behind you. Thank goodness the last time I was here, it was only for a few times and your booth isn't here anymore, so not much damage done.

Apart from the rather out of place location (don't worry, thy have shuttle bus at 10min interval from Jurong East MRT Station) and the sweltering hot weather (oh God), IMM is actually quite a nice place. There are many retail stores of all sorts and most importantly, many food outlets!I headed to Swensen's to treat myself to my fave Sticky Chewy Chocolate as I was in a bad mood. (I was also waiting for my friends.) The last time I've been to Swensen's must have been last year, with Kynaston, Aloysius and Jun Jin at Tampines. It was a good time with the guys.

I remember fondly my first memories of Swensen's. It's been around for as long as I remember; I grew up with it. My first recollections of Swensen's was at the Changi Airport outlet. Whenever I went to the airport when I was a kid, I'll always go to the viewing gallery to look at planes and play at the indoor playground, which was next to Swensen's. Like all kids, I adore ice cream and the ice cream counter will always attract me. Sometimes my mum will be nice to us and bring

us into the restaurant for a meal. The ice cream was always the best part.Looking back, this ice cream has grown with me and holds many memories.

I wonder if the outlet at Changi Airport is still there.
